Phase One: Remove
Cryotherapy sessions can last from 2-3 minutes. During this time the body is exposed to ultra low temperatures. Temperatures are lowered to -200 to -240 degrees Farenheit. The blood vessels in your skin’s surface and muscle tissue constrict forcing blood away from the peripheral tissues and towards your core. In the core, the body’s natural filtration system works to remove toxins and inflammatory properties of the blood.
Phase Two: Replenish
After exiting the cryochamber refined blood flows back into the peripheral tissue. The blood is cleaner and enriched with oxygen, nutrients and enzymes in the blood warms and enriches skin and muscles and range of motion increases.
Phase Three: Recover
Over the next two days the process of restoration starts and the body returns to a rejuvenated and improved condition with a reduction of pain, inflammation, and increased energy level. Also, recovery times from strenuous workouts and injury are improved and minimized.
